About Me
The road to my debut novel has been long and winding.
My journey into the fiction world began while I was still a corporate banker and wrote a children’s story called Dusk Fairies. It was about a girl living with her grandmother in a woodland cottage who dreams of joining the circus and learns acrobatics from fairies who only appear at dusk.
That first story contained themes that continue in my work to this day. A forest setting. Great loss. A healing journey. The power of love. And a bit of magic.
Life took me in a variety of creative directions, and I didn’t return to writing fiction until 2012, when I decided to adapt a passion project screenplay into a novel. I quickly learned that writing fiction is a lot different than screenwriting. While learning the craft and writing novel manuscripts, I began publishing short stories, first in Woman’s World magazine, then in short story anthologies.
As a result, I have a backlog of historical fantasy novels I’m excited to publish. In 2024, I also began writing a historical fiction series that swaps the fun of magic for the glamor of the French royal court in the 17th century under King Louis XIII.
I look forward to taking you to enchanting places and touching your heart for years to come!
