I’m historical fantasy author Kady Ambrose. My novels have realistic historical settings, strong female protagonists and a dollop of fantasy. Basically, the stuff I like to read.

Though my novels are in the Historical Fantasy genre, I’ve published a number of contemporary short stories.

My latest, “Built to Last,” is a speculative fiction short story appearing in Omicron World Entertainment’s  “Automobilia” anthology.

After being neglected in a dank garage for months, a beat-up old car secretly helps its new driver push through their shared grief.  

My real world alter-ego is Lynne Moses, screenwriter, playwright and writing consultant who taught story development in Los Angeles at UCLA Extension and elsewhere. I live in Paris, where my husband and I are happily bossed around by our sweet little Yorkie-mix.
