I’m historical fantasy author Kady Ambrose. My novels have realistic historical settings, strong female protagonists and a dollop of fantasy. Basically, the stuff I like to read. I like research so much that I’ve been lovingly accused of preferring to live in the past.

Though my novels are in the Historical Fantasy genre, I’ve published a number of contemporary short stories.

My latest, “Built to Last,” is a speculative fiction short story appearing in Omicron World Entertainment’s  “Automobilia” anthology.

After being neglected in a dank garage for months, a beat-up old car secretly helps its new driver push through their shared grief.  

My real world alter-ego is Lynne Moses, screenwriter, playwright and writing consultant who taught story development in Los Angeles at UCLA Extension and elsewhere. She lives in Paris, where she and her husband are happily bossed around by their sweet little Yorkie-mix.
